Killarney...

Thursday, 31 March 2016

Having returned from a lovely break to Killarney I wanted to do a blog post on such a beautiful place. I must admit it is one of my favourite places to visit in Ireland, there''s always loads to do and such a buzz around especially now that the weather is improving. We stayed at The Brehon Hotel which is such a lovely relaxed hotel. I highly recommend a massage here on this occasion I got a full body massage which included an Indian head massage. A spa day is definitely one of my favourite things to do its such a treat. I always tend to stick to massages, facials and Indian head massages. One tip if you are thinking of coming here is be mindful of the pressure with your massage I would say at times a soft-medium pressure can be more like a medium pressure.

I think it's safe to say anywhere there's a buffet breakfast we tend to lose the run of ourselves! The breakfast was an array of choice - I struggled to finish but sampled the above! We also had lunch here on arriving.

These shoes seemed to be a big hit on Instagram when I uploaded a picture of which to wear out for dinner and some drinks. In the end I opted for the white. We ate in an Italian restaurant called Robertinos located near penneys, food was nice possibly over priced for some things but I think that's just Killarney in general in places. We would normally eat in a lovely place called Cronins a more of traditional Irish restaurant but on this occasion it was booked out as its popular with tourists - the vegetable curry is so nice there! Also these shoes were a recent purchase in penneys for €19.

Dinner was followed by some drinks back at the hotel..

One of the nicest things about Killarney is the beautiful scenery I took this picture at the Europe Hotel where we had a relaxing lunch.

Nothing says Spring more then some daffodils which were scattered around the grounds of The Europe.

Again I went for comfort and paired my nikes with this oversized cardigan I recently got in h&m in the sales. It's perfect to pair with jeans and trainers for a casual day time look.

It wouldn't be a complete trip without a browse in penneys in Killarney luckily I have a boyfriend that's willing to drop me and leaves me for anything golf related so it's a win/win situation!! The above items caught my eye I love the navy and blue tones. Navy is alway nice this time of year and isn't as harsh as black its especially nice on holidays paired with white.

I did pick up some white jeans in penneys they were €15 I liked the fact that the ends are frayed which is a big trend in jeans at the moment and for the summer. I got the black high neck top for €5. The sliders were €6 I understand these are not for everyone but I do wear them a lot in the summer. I went for the tan and khaki colour and the gold buckle detail give them a more expensive look. Overall above is a summer outfit for €26!

Enjoy your Thursday...
