Hi all I ventured into the penneys in Cork on Friday evening last and thought I would share with you all what caught my eye so if your interested in these types of posts keep reading! Starting with homeware it was hard to miss the tropical print on this bedding, I think by the time the month of January comes we are all thinking about summer and bright colours and prints. I loved the brown cushions on the bed and I think paired with cream in your home they could look more expensive. I also thought this blue and gold cushion was quirky but unusual.
What screams a bloggers dream more than some cactus and pineapples - perfect for flatlays and capturing that perfect photo!! Seriously though the golds, greys and whites would look perfect dotted around your home.
Prices varied but all affordable...
Next up and probably my favourite section was all the loungewear and pyjamas that are new in. I mean if the picture above doesn't scream Victoria Secret! Now at first when I saw the stripes probably beetlejuice sprung to mind more than Victoria Secret, but having thought about it they have grown on me and just look at the pink satin pair. I would say if you have your eye on these act fast because they will fly out I feel.
Pink satin pjs
Stripes
These grey cotton pyjamas also caught my eye perfect for the warmer months ahead as the material is light.
I recently posted a photo of similar pjs on my instagram and got asked alot about them well now they have something very similar in again in these pink cotton ones. These are €10.
With Valentines coming up next month these heart ones are very cute.
Cheeky but cute...
I spotted these slippers - rabbits with the ears and pom pom as the tail..
I have these slippers in the grey they have now come in with Spring in mind in brighter colours of pink and baby blue.
The embroidery trend also has spread into the pyjamas section. I love the fact that these come as a set that you can mix and match with the cami, shorts and light gown.
How gorgeous is this blush dressing gown that comes in an array of colours. In my opinion this and the embroidered set above do not look like their from penneys. This is €12.
And lastly in loungewear was this grey and blush set, I actually tried this on but unfortunately the pants was too big and was the smallest they had so size down in this. This set is perfect for the days when you don't feel like getting dressed but still want to look like your not in your pjs at all hours of the day for those unexpected visitors - admit it we all have those lazy days!!!
The only piece of jewellery that caught my eye was this necklace for €3.
I also spotted the Suzanne Jackson lashes which were fully stocked again. These are the 'Holly' and 'Kylie' lashes.
If your looking for make up bags to pop the above lashes into or for your make up I spotted this cute little one in the beauty section.
All that glitters is gold...
This army style embroidered jacked also caught my eye, I think with the embroidered detailing it makes it stand out from the usual army print. This was €25.
Details...
Rolled up sleeves for a more edgy look paired with jeans and trainers possibly.
I thought this shirt was also abit different to all the recent shirts as its more of a cropped style this worn loosely over high waisted jeans in the coming months could look nice.
What would a penneys post be without some star print...
Spring/Summer
Moving away from boots for a change and spotting these open toe shoes - imagine these with ankle gazer frayed jeans for Spring.
I also spotted these little pump style ballerina shoes but they have a tie to wrap up around your legs which again for spring would look lovely I think, these also come in a shiny grey.
Again sandals are making their way in...
I loved the little aztec coloured ones.
Thanks for reading
